Visiting The Palace
The "Piano Nobile" (the noble floor)
The Piano nobile represents the main section of the Palace, a vast area which comprehends about twenty rooms on the first floor. This section of the Palace consists of important and elegant rooms that preserve the original furniture of the 1600s; here is preserved the main part of the Chigi Collection consisting of paintings and sculptures by great artists such as Gian Lorenzo Bernini, Baciccio, Jacob Ferdinand Voet. The rooms preserve extremely rare 1600s leather panels.
The Piano Nobile is open to the public every day, except Mondays, and can be visited with guided tours.
