Furnishings
The collection boasts the presence of several pieces of furniture from the1600s of primary importance, including some Bernini designs: from the incredible wall tables or consoles with vegetation motif designed by Bernini, to the sideboards for the pharmacy designed by Carlo Fontana, to numerous benches, frames and furniture, all in great part made by the great craftsman Antonio Chicari. There are several consoles dating to the 1700's, amongst which a group made in 1740 using the plans for marbles from the villa of Emperor Vitellio. Moreover there is a 17th century cabinet which belonged to St. Philip Neri and received as a gift by Alexander VII.
