Objects
The furnishings of the 16th century chapel, the large kitchen, (china, pots and pottery all intact), and many objects of everyday usage are to be found here, dating up to the 19th century.
The palace, like a miraculous coffer, has conserved objects of remarkable historical interest: from the keys to the Vatican used for the conclaves, the skullcap and the bowl of Pius IX, to trunks with toilet items in precious silk and silver of the 17th century, to a series of relics of the 17th and 18th centuries belonging to the numerous Chigi chapels, the marionette theater from the 18th century , to the precious wooden stamp matrices for the leather wall coverings of the 17th century.
